Fourth retailer in a month closes at Plaza
CrainsNewYork.com – The Viennese bakery Demel closed shop in the Plaza Retail Collection stores Monday night for good. This marks the fourth retailer in about a month to abandon the troubled below-ground concourse.

Biz Buzz: Short Pump retailer taking store online
Four months after opening her first retail shop locally, Nancy Sharigian is expanding her offerings to the rest of the planet. Well, at least those on the planet who happen to click on her new Web site. Sharigian owns Jake & Friends in western Henrico County. The store, which opened in November, is in the Short Pump Station shopping center near Trader Joe’s.
